Google Account and Gmail Data
Cashbook Complete can connect to a Google account, with your permission, so that you can send emails that you initiate from within the software. It requests only the permission needed to send email. Cashbook Complete does not use this connection to read, search, modify or delete messages in your Gmail mailbox, or to access your Google contacts or other Google account data.
When you connect a Google account, Google provides Cashbook Complete with authorisation tokens. Cashbook Complete uses these tokens only to authenticate the sending of emails that you request. It does not receive or store your Google password. Email recipients, subject lines, message content and attachments selected in Cashbook Complete are transmitted to Google only as required to send the email.
Google user data obtained through this connection is not sold, used for advertising, shared with data brokers or used to build user profiles. It is disclosed only when necessary to provide the email-sending feature, when you direct us to do so, when required by law, or to protect the security and rights of users and Acclaim Software.
Cashbook Complete's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. Google authorisation tokens used by the installed Cashbook Complete application are retained only for as long as necessary to keep the account connected and provide the email-sending feature. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Revoking Access and Deleting Google Data
You can disconnect your Google account in Cashbook Complete or revoke Cashbook Complete's access at any time from the connections page in your Google Account. Revoking access prevents Cashbook Complete from obtaining new access tokens or sending further email through that authorisation.
You may also contact us to request deletion of personal information or Google-related data held by Acclaim Software. We will action a valid request within a reasonable period, subject to information that we must retain for legal, security or legitimate business purposes.
Service Providers and Disclosure
We may use service providers to operate our website, process payments, deliver email or provide support. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and are required to protect it. We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, misuse or harm.
